WHAT IS INCLUDED:

Your entry fee into the 6 Day Vegas Valley Voyage includes the following:

• Professional and experienced race staff.
• Medical support throughout the event.
• Photos taken by race staff prior to, during, on course, around camp, and after the event for personal, non-commercial use.
• Fully permitted and expertly designed course through the Magical Mojave Desert.
• Welcome lunch on May 9, 2018 prior to leaving for Camp 1.
• Official event shirt.
• Storage of non- race luggage during the event (2 pieces per person maximum).
• Transportation to Camp 1.
• All park entry fees during the event.
• Drinking water for the duration of the event.
• Bathing ration at the finish line following Stages 1- 5 for your hygiene needs.
• Hot water available for individual meal/ beverage preparation in the mornings and evenings during the event at the mobile campsite.
• Space in a shared multi-person tent in the event’s mobile campsite, May 9- 14, 2018.
• Transport of main backpack from camp to camp for “assisted” division participants.
• Event timing and results.
• Flexible staff to allow 6 Day participants to drop down to the 3 Day division after Stage 3 and be considered an official finisher; or to drop from “self supported” to “assisted” division.
• Finisher’s belt buckle.
• Light lunch at the finish line after Stage 6 prior to heading back to Las Vegas.
• Transportation back to Las Vegas from the finish line on May 15, 2018.
• Award banquet dinner on May 15, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV.
• Award eligibility.
• Assistance from local Las Vegas resident staff with planning your travel itinerary before and/ or after the race.

• Opportunity to stay on in the mobile campsite with the Vegas Valley Voyage group through May 15, 2018 in exchange for volunteer commitment May 13-15, 2018.
• Assistance from local Las Vegas resident staff with planning your travel itinerary before and/ or after the race.

ADDITIONAL PARTICIPANT EXPENSES may include, but is not limited to the following:

• Transportation to/ from Las Vegas, Nevada (except as noted above to Camp 1 and from the finish line). Participants must also make their own way to the host hotel for the May 9, 2018 gear check, welcome lunch, and transportation to Camp 1.
• Entry Visas into the United States of America, if applicable.
• Overnight hotel stays prior to and/ or after the event. A host hotel will be declared as the hub for race related activities and a group rate will be negotiated on behalf of the participants should they wish to stay at the host hotel. Race management will assist in pairing anyone wishing to share a room with another participant. Just email me: calicoracing@hotmail.com
• Transportation from Las Vegas’ McCarran airport to the host hotel. (A taxi is roughly 15 minutes drive and approximately $30 one way. Shuttle service may be available).
• Travel excursions or accommodations prior to or after the event, except as noted above.
• Required and optional equipment for the event.
• Daily meals and race nutrition during the event.

  • Travel insurance is not included with entry and is highly encouraged at the participant’s expense. Travelguard offers such policies and should include emergency evacuation and adventure sports for the duration of the event/ your total time away from home.
